These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Eggie ("Eggie," "we," "us") for the Eggie app for iPhone and the website at eggiebaby.com (together, the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions: hello@itsjonathanpark.com.
Eggie is provided completely free of charge. Every feature is available to all users. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and nothing is locked behind a paywall.
Eggie is intended for adults (18 or older) who are tracking the care of a baby and the caregivers they choose to invite. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Eggie for your own family's use, subject to these Terms and the App Store's terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt or misuse the Service, and you may not use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
The information you enter - your baby's details, the care you log, and any photos or videos you add - is yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store it and show it to you and the caregivers you invite, and to operate features you turn on (such as sharing a private "Her Page" link). You can export your log or delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it.
Eggie is a tracking and keepsake tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Ranges, predictions, milestones, and growth charts are general references (for example, AAP, CDC, and WHO reference data) and are not a diagnosis. They are not a substitute for professional judgment. Always talk to your pediatrician or another qualified professional about your baby's health, and call emergency services if you believe your baby needs urgent care.
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
We work to keep Eggie running well, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and you should not rely on it as your only record of important information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eggie and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.
Eggie is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. You may stop using Eggie and delete your account at any time, and we may suspend or end access that violates these Terms.
