Effective date: June 11, 2026
Eggie ("Eggie," "we," "us") is a baby-care tracking app for iPhone. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@itsjonathanpark.com.
Eggie is used by parents and the caregivers they invite (a partner, grandparent, nanny, or doula). The app is intended for adults. The information in the app is about your baby and your baby's daily care, and you enter it yourself.
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and email address. We use this to create and secure your account.
Baby care information you enter. Your baby's name, date of birth, and sex; and the care you log — feeding (nursing, bottle, pumping), diapers, sleep, weight and measurements, and notes. This lets the app show your baby's day, trends, and reminders.
Photos and videos. If you add photo or video "moments," the media you choose is stored so you and your invited caregivers can view it. If a photo or video includes the place it was taken, we store that location to organize memories (for example, "at home" vs. "out").
Smart Import (optional). If you turn on Smart Import, Eggie scans your photo library on your device to suggest new photos and videos of your baby. Recognizing your baby's face happens entirely on your device; the scan itself sends nothing anywhere. Only the items you approve are uploaded. Uploaded photos pass through an automated screening step on our backend before they are shown to other caregivers.
Caregiver relationships. If you invite someone or join with an invite code, we store who is connected to which baby so the right people can see and add logs.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
You can change these anytime in iOS Settings.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase (which runs on cloud infrastructure). Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted by row-level security so that each account can reach only the babies it is connected to; photos are kept in a private store and served through short-lived signed links.
We do not sell personal information.
Eggie is for parents and caregivers (adults). The information about your child is entered by you, the adult account holder. Eggie is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Eggie is a tracking tool to help you care for your baby. It is not medical advice and not a diagnosis. Feeding guidance reflects general AAP newborn ranges and growth uses the WHO weight-for-age reference. For your baby's health, your pediatrician is the source of truth.
We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
